The property was experiencing leaks caused by the aging of the coping stones and historically incorrect leadwork installation. Over time, the improper fitting had led to water ingress, compromising the roof’s integrity.
To resolve the issue, we installed Code 5 welted lead panels, secured using a copper clipping system. The lead panels were carefully welded to retain the traditional character of the roof, ensuring both durability and a seamless appearance.
In addition, we re-slated the roof using high-quality Welsh slates, restoring the roof’s aesthetic while providing long-lasting protection from the elements.
